Yep i finally got the time to fix the sign-up-bug.
And while I was at it I changed the email provider for the forgotten-password-emails. Dont know if they have, but they shouldn't get stuck in the spam folders any more.
I've started to get a couple of emails about changes to the spells.
Im trying to go through the changes as they come in.
Some EE-spells have been revised and updated so if you are a heavy user of EE-spells, its time to print out a new spell book.

It looks like there is a bug at my server provider and I need to get in touch with them (not doing this on a Sunday again soon..), a ticket is opened and Im hoping the issue will be resolved tomorrow or the day after.
You have to manage without the Xanathar's spells for a couple of days longer then planed.
After the update the new spells from Xanathar's Guide To Everything will be added. The page might go online and offline several times during the update and strange errors might occur.

Later today (in about 4-5 hours) the site will be down for maintenance. Don't know exactly for how long the site will be down. But hopefully this will fix some issues with the site.
It seems that Facebook have some issues with some of their services right now and It can affect users who login to the site using Facebook.

The default color when you use the white layout is now black. And the size of the text on the spell and spell-light page is a bit bigger. Should be easier on the eyes when using the page for a longer time.

You no longer see how many cantrips that are prepared in a spellbook.
You do how ever see the number of added cantrips in a spellbook and number of spells + prepared. Much easier and better overview when creating a new character. Especially when you start at a higher level than of level 1.

I was hoping to get the sorting order of the spells (cantrip -> 9) worked out before this weekend. But unfortunate I haven't had the time nor thought of a good way to fix it.
Just to make it a bit more easier on you I have gone back to call Cantrips "level 0" on some of the spell-pages. This will help you when you want to brows the spells by level.
Yeah, that's right. You are now able to generate PDFs / spell cards while using IE / Edge. My access to a windows-based computer is restricted so there haven't been much testing. I tried it in IE11 and Edge and it worked So I hope I can leave it there!

There was some problem with resetting the filters under the Class-spell-pages. Thanks to a user and a awesome step-by-step guide I was able to quickly re-create the problem and fix it.

This time they wanted to be able to see just how many spells they have prepared in a spellbook. Kind of hard to keep count while playing and when you have imported all the spells from a class.
I decided to separete the number of prepared spells by cantrips and lvl 1 spells and higer.
Im still testing this, and you can see the number of active spells obove the Spellbook-icon or below the name of the spellbook.
Now the buttons work on the spells-light-index.
They will now change between +/- when you add the spells in the active spellbook.

The default size of the spell cards have been A4 (a European but non-North American standard). There's not much in difference between the A4 and US Letter so I decided to go with the latter. I've tried a couple of prints and I can't see any difference between spell card in Letter and A4.
If there are some users who would like the A4 back, let me know and I'll add a radio button where you can select the size of paper. But try it out first.
I've gotten some emails from users with the request of only show the spell from "that" class. But, I haven't really seen a use for it when you so easily can use the filters. But I decided to go ahead with it any way.
Under the menu Class you will find the "class exclusive" spells and under the menu Spells you will find a subpages with classes which have "class available" spells. I hope some of you will find it useful.
But I decrease the loading time of some of the pages with a second. Doesn't sound like much for some, but in the long run it will make a difference.
I'll soon force the visitors to use https over normal http, this too will help with the page load. I'll leave this release for 12-24 hours and monitor the perfomance before I do something else.

You are now able to:
1. Register a new account using Facebook.
2. Login with facebook if the email address is the same as on D&D-spells
3. Connect your D&D-spells-account with a Facebook account for easy login. Take a look under User Profile.
The new Spells-page included a little bug for the navigation.
When new users created a spellbook or when none was active, the navigation got a bit scared and ran away.. This made all the books sympathise with the navigation and dedicated to roll a natural twenty on a hide-roll.

On the spell-index-page "Spells Light" i added some icons so it's easier to see that you can expand the rows to see the spells description. You can click on the right side of the name all the way past the Level column.

You can now filter the source of the spell with a filter on the spell-index-page. No need to select yes/no under EE and SCAG. Just hit source instead.
So I'm working on a new version of the spell page. Mostly to be able to add spells to an active spellbook without a page-reload. But I didn't really like the bloated information on the old version (that some of you really like).
On the new page you are able (at this moment) sort by name or level, search by name or description. Add selected spells to a book or generate a PDF with spell cards.

In the last update it snuck up a bug that doesnt allow the users to select multiple spells and use the button "Add selected to active spellbook".
You can still add them from the spell-page or use the buttons on the right on the spell-index-page.

This means that you can filter, click on a spell to read more about it and then return to the spell-index and last list is still active. The list will persist even if you close the browser.
With some browsers the links for the active filters will disappear. So I added a button called "Reset your filter". Use this to get a full list of spells.If you visit the spell-page or a certain spell that is included in your current book and switch to a new one, the add / remove button for that spell will not change / updated to inflict the changes (perhaps in the future). So I decided to give the members an option to get rid of the ads. I got a couple of questions about this over the last couple of weeks.
So, when you buy me a beer (donate up to the sum of $10) the ads will be removed when you are logged in.
I have to manually add the users who have donated, and if you use another email address when you donate just give send me a mail with what address you used and Ill add it to your account.

A updated navigation is on the way. It makes it easier to select which spellbook is active and the spellbook-page is getting a new look to make it easier to view from smaller devices.
I'm rewriting the spell-page to be able to expand more information about the spell without the need to open it up in another tab. You should also be able to add a spell to the active spellbook without the need of a page-reload.
Just added a highlight to the "Activate book"-button under Manage Spellbooks.
Remember that you have to have a activated spellbook to be able to add more / custom spells.
For clarification I have now added the text prepare / prepared to the toggle function of a spellbook.
The number of reported bugs is down to zero (I hope that you just blindly accept an error) and I dont get many new requests for new features. I feel like the site works "ok" and I can move on. The site will need a new look and some features might be rewritten and optimized.
The rate of new registered users have lowered a bit and about hundred new users is created ever other day (I still think it's freakin' awesome number).

I've gotten help from some friends that will go through the spells with me and check the description and move the (components info) to the Components column and split the info about At Higher Levels to it's own column. The text in the description will be formatted for easier read.

Ooh, and I added an about-page.
Now when that is done the EE spells will be accessed without an account. But of course you need to have an account if you want to save a spellbook and keep track of your spell slots.
The next update will be out later this week.
Some quick info. You have 10 slots, every slot can be increased to 10. If there is a reason why you need to be able to increase it further let me know.
It doesn't look pretty in every mobile and landscape mode is prefered. I'll put it on the to-do-list.
When you view your spellbook for the first time the slots will be created and the page will reload.
Ooh, and for every beer that gets donated I'll code for an hour ;)

In general there is 9 slots, I added one more if you have any house rules or I've missed some feature or so. And yes, the normal spellcaster can have 4 spells in the first spells slot, but here you can toggle between 0 - 10.

It's been awhile since my last update of the page. Just popped in to let you know I updated two spells that didn't have complete descriptions. If you stumble upon more spells that are missing descriptions or have a some other kind of issue please let me know.
So, now you should be able to toggle the prepared-status without a page reload. Use the stars. I noticed that you sometimes need to hit the stare twice so be patience. After the toggle you do need to change the filter or sort once. So if you only filter on "Prepared" and hit the filled stare to turn it off, you still need to change the filter or sort the spells in another order. Im gonna tweak this a bit.

I pushed a new version just now but I had to revert back immediately. The release worked great in develop mode but in production we had some issues in the /spellbook/view-section. I need a bit more time to debug. But I think you sone enough will be able to toggle prepared / not-prepared with out the page reloading all the time.

You can now prepare and un-prepare your spells in a spellbook, just toggle the stars. I'm sorry for the page-reload between every click but it seems like I dont have much free time on my hands. An update WILL come.
Ofcourse you are able to filter the spells by prepared under the /view spellbook-page.
Filter by Prepared and then choose how you would like to sort them. Level and Name is my favorite. How about you?

I've cleaned up how the print will look from the "view" Spellbook page. Remember that it's up to the browser how to output the information. Ex. Safari will print the spells as the page is, while Google Chrome will fill the width of the page with one spell (as meant).
I've added the ability to choose how the PDF will sort the spells when it's generated. By default it's the default order..duh! (level, a-z), but you can choose to generate the PDF by the way the tables state.
It's important that you first sort the spells and after that's done, you can check / mark the spells.
When you go to your profile you are now able to change your email address, update the password and delete your account. Of course this will delete all of your spellbooks.

The summer vacation is over and now there is time to get going.. I've got some nice input from a couple of users and added a few requests.
It didn't take so long to fix. All the spells from the ELEMENTAL EVIL PLAYER'S COMPANION is now added to the site.
To be able to access them you need to have an account and be logged in (will be listed with the other spells). This might be revised when the beta has ended.
I got a mail from the user Sean asking me if Im going to add the collection of spells from Elemental Evil. A couple of months ago I thought no. I think I got stuck on the line "This supplement provides new options for player characters in that epic campaign. If your Dungeon Master allows, these options can be used in other campaigns as well." and thought that there is no need to include these spells.
